Provider Choice Webpage Redesign (Copywriting)

This project at Provider Choice involved revamping web pages for free NDIS online tools that the business offers, focusing on clarity and accessibility. From a full copy update to a content makeover and collaboration with designers, the redesigned pages resulted in improved user engagement and enhanced understanding of NDIS processes.

While at Provider Choice, I participated in a project to update three web pages for useful online tools – ‘The Plan Explainer Tool,’ ‘The Planning Conversation Tool,’ and ‘The Plan Reassessment Tool.’ The goal? Make life a bit easier for NDIS participants and their supporters, helping them navigate everything from applications to plan reassessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Copy Revamp:

    • Gave a fresh look to these three practical tool pages, making them more user-friendly and accessible.

    • Developed new copy and positioned the information in a way that’s easy on the eyes and simplifies NDIS info.

    • Highlighted important information like applying, prepping for meetings, and decoding those tricky NDIS questions.

  1. Content Makeover:

    • Utilised Figma to play around with the webpage layouts and design elements, ensuring a smooth experience for users.

  1. Design:

    • I teamed up with our in-house graphic/web designer to make the pages user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing.

    • Balanced the look and feel to keep it both nice looking and practical.

Implementation:

  1. Redesigned Layouts:

    • Utilised Figma to revamp webpage layouts, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.

    • Applied best practices in UX design to enhance navigation and information accessibility.

  1. Copywriting:

    • Crafted clear and concise copy, adhering to UX writing principles.

    • Tailored content to address the unique needs of NDIS participants, simplifying complex concepts for better understanding.

  1. Graphic/Web Design Collaboration:

    • Worked closely with the in-house designer to balance aesthetics and functionality.

    • Ensured the visual elements complemented the informative content, creating a better user experience.

Results:

  1. Improved User Engagement:

    • Noticed a significant uptick in user engagement, indicating improved usability and relevance of the redesigned web pages.

  1. Enhanced Understanding:

    • Positive feedback highlighted increased comprehension of NDIS processes, from application to plan reassessment.

  1. Visually Appealing Pages:

    • Successfully achieved visually appealing webpages that provided valuable information and captured the user’s attention.

The web page redesign for Provider Choice’s essential tools, ‘The Plan Explainer Tool,’ ‘The Planning Conversation Tool,’ and ‘The Plan Reassessment Tool,’ has helped to empower NDIS participants. These webpages now serve as comprehensive resources by integrating UX principles, refining content, and collaborating with the design team, fostering a deeper understanding of the NDIS journey.
